A fantastic book for ANYONE into hand planes. They do, by the way, have some info on different types of scrapers as well, which is a nice bonus. This is my kind of book---nice pictures, easy to understand text, some plane history, and just about anything else you may want to know.This book will guide you on picking the right plane, tuning the plane, making adjustments, sharpening, proper technique, and more. It discusses metal, wood, transitional, and molding planes. This book will be a resource I will keep readily available in the shop.I would highly suggest this book for anyone who is into planes, whether you are a collector, a user, or a bit of both.
