In the story, Arthur's parents announce they are having a baby and DW is really excited, but Arthur is not so sure, which is typically the two reactions most kids have. After the baby comes home, DW thinks she can take care of the baby and Kate won't stop crying so she gets Arthur to help and it turns out, Kate just had to burp.
